If you are anything like me, you might be a bit of a cynic — or smart as I like to call it — and so if I say that your book will win over the corporate gatekeepers and decision-makers, you’ll say, ‘How?’
And here is what I am NOT promising: no magic, no sleight of hand, no formulas.
So, what is the secret to getting your book into the right hands?
Because you solve a problem for the gatekeepers and the decision-makers that keeps them awake at night. You solve a problem that STOPS them from doing what they love doing, being who they want to be, and achieving what they want to achieve.
You’re providing a solution for the real issues: poor communication, weak sales, ineffective marketing, battling team members, and even dismal productivity. Think about it. These are the challenges that can derail their success and leave them struggling to reach their goals.
They see this problem staring them in the face every day, and they need someone who can tackle it head-on. That’s you. You’re the expert in this field. You have the insight to solve what they can’t.
If you write a brilliant business book, the title alone will have them pick it up. And its contents will have them seek your book out, talk about it, and recommend it to others.
It’s not some fancy marketing trick that gets your book into the right hands. It is you, your expertise and your superb ability to target and speak to the people who matter.
